Job Description

Qualification: Minimum of a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or above advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience in administration. Experience within a tertiary environment preferable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assessment Administration & Compliance
Manage all assessment processes from preparation to handover to Results Centre
Capture and maintain accurate student assessment records in the Academic Management System
Ensure secure storage of assessments and memos
Maintain strict access control and secure logging procedures
Ensure compliance with assessment policies and audit requirements
Prepare and manage assessment documentation
Manage late assignment processing and concessions

Assessment Logistics & Printing Coordination
Manage the Assessment Printing Tracking System (APTS)
Coordinate assessment printing, batching and crate management with Colourtech
Verify crate contents and manage discrepancies
Track assessment numbers, venues and invigilator details
Ensure timely return of crates and locks
Complete incident and FAN reports when required

Examination Management
Coordinate invigilator bookings, training and scheduling
Assist with invigilation where required
Manage student movement and bathroom escorts during exams
Resolve and escalate exam-related queries
Manage and reconcile scripts post-exam and submit to Results Centre

Online & Assignment Assessment Processing
Reconcile assignment submissions and plagiarism checks
Manage different location approvals
Manage online and non-exam assessments
Liaise with IT for technical assessments and preloads

Stakeholder Communication & Campus Support
Communicate CAT decisions and assessment escalations
Support campus projects (Graduation, Open Days, etc.)
Facilitate assessment focus groups and feedback
Act as liaison between campus, CAT, POM, Invigilators and Results Centre
