- Contributes to the formulation of human capital strategies and goals that align and enable business success, and managing effectively to ensure the achievement of strategic outcomes.
- Manages all staff sourcing, recruitment, retention, interviewing, contract issuing, induction, onboarding, succession and talent management strategies.
- Ensures organisation design structures, charts and job descriptions are accurately maintained, secured, and effectively control the management to non-management ratios and fully meet the needs of the business.
- Retrieves data, analyses trends, and compiles and presents all HR monthly reports, metrics and reconciliations.
- Creates, refreshes, maintains and ensures adherence to a company remuneration strategy which ensures equitable pay by role, takes account of competitive market pay practices and pay within business budgets.
- Investigates reasons for, facilitates and successfully resolves any conflict and grievances that arise, attends to all CCMA, IR and Union matters and provides conflict resolution guidance and direction for own and other staff.
- Ensures company human capital legal and business compliance is fully met with on all related aspects.
- Develops, constantly refreshes and effectively utilises performance management tools, provides guidance and monitoring methods to ensure full application of PA systems and the optimal performance of all levels of Company Human Capital.
- Continuously assesses and manages relevance of, and updates Human Resources Policies and procedures, and ensures consistent application.
- General knowledge and applied understanding of labour relations and HR practices in RSA
